I have had a camera in my hand since my early years (an old Agfa from my Grandma was the first!). The camera may have changed, and my technical ability has improved but the raw passion that I have for taking pictures and the thrill that I get every time that the shutter clicks is undiminished. I have risen through the photographic ranks and hold Licentiates from the Royal Photographic Society and the BPPA.
My original career path was in the Royal Navy and then in the IT industry, where I rose to become a Senior Manager running Business Development and Marketing Campaigns in a multinational organisation. I found that I was increasingly disappointed with the Commercial Photographers that I met. While creatively superb, many did not understand the drivers of my business, and as a consequence the photographs often left me unsatisfied, not matching my corporate goals.
I felt that there would be a great opportunity for a Commercial Photographer who could match the best creative vision with business acumen and a deep understanding of the corporate market. I started Breeze with these objectives at the forefront of my mind.
Breeze Photographic is my vision of how commercial photography should be done.
I live in Ascot, Berkshire, with my wife and two children. When not taking photographs I loves to sail, and can be found afloat in an assortment of craft during the summer months.
